This public works space in Burbank, CA was awarded the 2008 “Best Civic Project in Southern California” by McGraw Hill Construction. Its exterior walls flaunt mechanically attached Minnesota Dolomitic Limestone with a sandblasted finish. The lavatory tops and public area transition tops are made up of Academy Black and Cold Springs Black Granite. Water fountains on the exterior of the building feature an Academy Black Granite. This project includes many environmentally green design elements which helped qualify it for LEED certification.
